Course Description and Objectives
The overall goal of this class is to enhance doctoral students’ critical thinking and research development abilities. Doctoral students will learn and polish their critical thinking and research abilities through participating this seminar, class discussion, working with their faculty members, presentation, critique to others students’ presentation and series of literature review process.
The objectives of the course are to support doctoral students to:
1. Gain abilities in reviewing and integrating research papers astutely.
2. Be familiar with the skills of literature review, analysis, and application.
3. Develop critical thinking abilities.
4. Develop their abilities in constructing research proposal.
5. Integrate nursing concepts and research.
6. Refine research steps through class discussion. |
